There are two Ronald McDonald Houses in Northwest Arkansas, each provide a place of rest and relaxation to families of children age 21 and under who are receiving medical treatment.
The Ronald McDonald House at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville and the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Mercy Northwest Arkansas in Rogers, provide a place for families to relax, regroup and regain the strength they need to support their child. For RMHC Arkhoma, part of regaining that strength means ensuring that the over 1,800 children and families who pass through their doors every year have the opportunity to eat a family-style meal each night. Yes, that means providing dinners every single night at 6pm, 365 days a year. So, how can you help?
Through the Share-a-Meal program, you (or your club, team, class, church, etc) can sign up to prepare or deliver a family-style meal on the day of your choice. Once you register for a night, you will receive a call, text or email reminder the day before your Share-A-Meal date. Once your date arrive, you’ll simply drop off the meal at the program at the location you selected by 5pm.
