Executive Director, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Arkansas
After 17 years with Big Brothers Big Sisters, the last 12 in Northwest Arkansas, Tami Shavers will be stepping down as Executive Director by the end of the school year—which means the search for a new Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Arkansas has commenced! The new director will be tasked with ensuring that the mission, strategy, values and goals of the organization are achieved.
As the largest children’s mentoring organization in Northwest Arkansas, BBBS helps all youth achieve their fullest potential by making meaningful, professionally supported matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 7 through 18 years old. In 2021, Big Brothers Big Sisters served over 1,200 children, families, and volunteers through 1:1 mentoring programs. Volunteers put in over 18,000 hours guiding, supporting, and building friendships with their Littles.

NWALT’s mission is to preserve and enhance the quality of life for all people in Northwest Arkansas through the permanent protection of land. NWALT currently protects and stewards over 6,000 acres of important natural areas and farmland with a current team of seven full-time professionals.

Arts and Culture Director, City of Fayetteville
The City of Fayetteville is hiring an Arts and Culture Director. This is an exciting new position within the Parks Department with loads of potential to work with artists near and far to expand upon Fayetteville’s vibrant arts and culture scene.
One of the key objectives of this position will be helping to lead the development and implementation of a Cultural Arts Master Plan for the city. In addition, this role will be responsible for implementing/managing policy and guidelines, cultural activities/programs, budget, public relations, and grants related to Fayetteville’s Arts and Cultural Plan, and the Fayetteville Arts Council, including the City’s arts and cultural assets and resources.
