Are you passionate about issues related to housing, transit and land use?
The Urban Land Institue of Northwest Arkansas (ULI NWA) is seeking to hire a Director of Programs. This is an amazing opportunity to support the development and management of ULI NWA’s programming and champion the ULI mission to shape the built environment for transformative impact in communities throughout the region.
This is an independent contractor position to direct the professional development and networking programs for a nonprofit organization that supports the private real estate development and public land-use planning industries of the Northwest Arkansas region.
ULI is the oldest and largest network of cross-disciplinary real estate and land use experts in the world. ULI advocates progressive development, conducting research, and education in topics such as sustainability, smart growth, compact development, placemaking, and workforce housing.
Are you a dedicated and conservation-minded individual?
The Illinois River Watershed Partnership (IRWP) is seeking a dedicated and conservation-minded individual to fulfill the role of Program Manager. The mission of IRWP is to improve the integrity of the Illinois River through public education, community outreach, and the implementation of conservation and restoration projects. This position will be responsible for fulfilling youth education and water quality monitoring programs. Someone who is dynamic, adaptable, and self-directed will be the key to success for this position.
For 15 years IRWP has worked to conserve and restore natural resources in the Illinois River Watershed. The Illinois River Watershed Partnership is composed of a broad variety of stakeholders, or people with a shared interest in having a healthy and productive watershed and river– including its landowners, who directly affect the water quality of the Illinois River. This group is holding itself accountable by striving to improve the water quality of the Illinois River through personal endeavors and through education, encouragement and positive reinforcement of fellow Illinois River Watershed residents.

Historic Cane Hill, Inc. is seeking an experienced Public Programs Manager to work collaboratively with a small staff to carry out the mission and expand public outreach. Historic Cane Hill, Inc. is a non-profit organization operating at a historic site nestled in the Ozark Mountains of Northwest Arkansas. Cane Hill is the location of Washington County’s first permanent European-American settlement (1827); one of the state’s earliest colleges, Cane Hill College; first public library; and first co-educational college; as well as a stage for momentous events like the Trail of Tears and a battle site in the American Civil War.
The Public Programs Manager will develop, implement and coordinate educational programs and activities for various audiences, including adults, teens, children and families.
