Meal Train® for New Beginnings Meals

Special Instructions

Hello and thank you for volunteering! If this is your first time to make a meal, please email Linda@newbeginningsnwa.org to set up an orientation! 1)You may either choose to make the meal at your location and deliver by 5-5:30. or 2)Come in by 3-4pm and cook on-site using your ingredients, and available pantry items or our purchased ingredients. Please email the recipe and ingredient list(if you need) a week in advance to Linda@NewBeginningsNWA.org . If you have any questions, feel free to email me. You can come cook as early as needed, but dinner is usually served around 5:30! We have pots, pans, serving ware, and spices, etc for those cooking on-site. You are also welcome to use any fresh veggies/frozen veggies from our garden that are in season! We also ask when Volunteers serve food that a proper head-covering such visor or baseball hat be worn. We have visors. Hand washing station and gloves are provided. Some new meal suggestions from the Residents include: Collards with Brown Beans and Cornbread,Turkey Chili, Chicken and Dumplings, Casseroles, Beef Stew, and Fried Chicken...etc
